HIGHLAND PARK — The busy intersection of Figueroa Street and York Boulevard has been the scene of numerous collisions over the years, including a crash that left six people injured last May. Today, in a bid to make the intersection safer, new left-turn lights have been installed for motorists turning from Figueroa to York, Councilman Jose Huizar said on Facebook. “My office worked with the LADOT Official to install these turn arrows, which will increase safety for all.”
