Assaults in Echo Park and Lincoln Heights, a trio of burglaries in Silver Lake and a half dozen stolen vehicles in Boyle Heights were among some of the crimes reported this weekend. Here’s the rundown of crime from CrimeMapping Friday, July 22 to Sunday, July 24:
Six vehicles were reported stolen in different parts of the neighborhood.
A robbery was reported near Cypress and Pepper avenues on Saturday afternoon, and a vehicle was reported stolen Sunday evening
Sunday in the 600 block of Avenue 28.
A burglary was reported Friday morning in the 2400 block of Yosemite Drive and second burglary was reported on Sunday in the 1100 block of Kipling Avenue.
East Los Angeles
An aggravated assault was reported Sunday night in the 700 block of La Verne Avenue.
A Saturday night robbery was reported in the 1000 block of Everett Street and an assault was reported on Sunset Boulevard and Sutherland Street, which corresponds to a report of an assault with a knife reported by The Eastsider.
An assault was reported Friday night in the 3200 block of Sierra Street, and another assault related to domestic violence was reported Sunday morning in the 3800 block of Tampico Avenue.
Two thefts were reported on Fletcher Drive north of San Fernando Road on Sunday.
Three vehicles were stolen over the weekend on the 900 block of N. Avenue 49, the 200 block of N. Avenue 55 and the 700 block of San Pascual Avenue.
Two vehicles were stolen a block apart near the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Westlake Avenue and in the 300 block of Bonnie Brae.
An assault was reported Saturday morning in the 2700 block of N. Broadway.
Two burglaries were reported on Friday in the 2800 block of Sunset Boulevard and the 2600 block of Griffith Park Boulevard. A third burglary was reported Sunday afternoon in the 2700 block of Sunset Boulevard.
