Old School Italian: Andre Guerrero, owner of Eagle Rock”s Oinkster, is branching out into Highland Park with an Italian restaurant, Maximiliano. The restaurant on York Boulevard near Toledo Street is scheduled to open next month, according to Patch. Maximiliano will play up favorites like spaghetti and meatballs but also take advantage of seasonal ingredients and make it own pasta and ice cream as well as cure its own pancetta.
Lunch for Dinner? Local in Silver Lake is offering its lunch offerings at dinner so patrons can have more choices with locally brewed beer, said owner Jason Michaud. The Dinner menu itself will be changing once a month on the first.
New look for Vintage Store: Michaud also mentioned that his Echo Park vintage store, TNSEN, on Berkeley Avenue is being re-launched with items.
